Games, the lifeblood.

So, lets ignore that ranting post made this morning. HI! Welcome to my blog. The main concept being, well, gaming. I plan to make posts about the games I'm playing, the games I've beat, games in general, and well, what ever else strikes my fancy (like a burning rage rant on the ick-covered dangly bits of an unnamed PC dealer).

So, lets just pretend this is my very first post, shall we? Great, wonderful, outstanding, super. So..yah. Umm. Oh right, games!

Fallout 3. What can I say. I played it. I beat it. I really enjoyed it. The graphics were solid, the story line flowed fairly well, and was just twisted enough for me to actually get evil giggles out of.* All around a good game. My only real complaint is how underpowered melee based combat is. It's really not even a solid option of a play style. Unless you enjoy chugging sodas and eating stimpacks constantly. So, on the Gid scale, I give it a solid 4 out of 5. Now, if I could only figure out what is given on the Gid scale. Stars are so...passé.

Crackdown. Yeh I know, it's kinda old. But cut me some slack, I've been busy with other games! So, yeh, it was a decent game. Fairly good action. There are some dark joys in smashing gang members to bits with a car. Or a telephone pole. Or a billboard. Or your foot. Lets face it, it's fun to smash people period. Game played well, really enjoyed the plot twist. Lets just say I would not delete it from the xbox for taking up..hard drive space? It's a lot harder to turn a bed/crackers joke into a xbox joke then I thought it would be. Ahh well.

So those are the only two games I've beat lately. I'm currently working on more. You can keep track of what I am doing with my Backloggery. Or you chose not too, depends on your views of stalking.

*For those that don't know me in real life, yes I've been known to have fits of evil giggles. Don't ask.
